Story vs Opportunity
There is so much content being created around new opportunities that the virus/pandemic might have created for us. Many grabbed these opportunities, while others had no choice but to succumb to whatever is being intensified. On a global level, we all felt an impact as some forces came to a halt and others sped up with a swoosh.
(now would be a good moment to close our eyes, breathe, and observe the forces that have been cut off and the ones that have accelerated)
Fascinated by the notion of story and the power of its narrative, this is the prism that I have been working with lately. When in a story, even those sharp turns are not disconnected from its narrative. Even big changes that seem so reactive remain part of the story.
The story evolves and evolution means to include what has happened before. Yes, at some point we might let go of certain baggage that no longer serves, but the letting go comes as a natural choice. And when elements of change are being introduced, it is useful to listen to the constancy that the narrative of life provides.
